Yes, today was the big 3-0

Even though dreaded this day it arrived and is now coming to an end. Mark made this day a good one...thanks honey... It started with the kids spending the night at his parents last night, so I got to sleep in this morning. 9 o'clock, I don't think I've got to sleep that late in years. Then, he brought me breakfast in bed...WOW! I was mostly lazy today. When Mark got back from picking up the kids Grayson brought me yellow flowers, a thomas the train balloon, and a birthday cake. The balloon is currently in his room. I also received a new digital picture frame. The last one I had wouldn't work so we had to take it back. This one is great! This evening we went out to eat at the Canyon Grill with some friends. My mom kept the kids, which once again was great! Overall, today ended up being a good day. Here are a few pictures from dinner.

Whoa is me...

I just turned 30!

Yuck! I am getting old, but the bright side is that Mark is always older!

Congratulations BJ and Sara!

We just got home today from a very long wedding weekend. It started on Friday with the bridesmaid luncheon, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner. Saturday was the BIG day for BJ and Sara. They both looked great and had a beautiful wedding...from what little bit I saw...Reagan decided to pitch a tantrum near the beginning so we left. Anyway, the wedding weekend ended on Sunday with a post wedding brunch...which was yummy! What made the weekend so tiring wasn't the activities it was chasing my two little "demon" angels around. They could have been worse, but thank goodness they weren't. Here are a few pictures from the events.

I just love this picture of Grayson. He's cheesin' it up while getting ready for the wedding.

A History Lesson...this day

Well, guess what happened on this day 8 years ago.....Did you guess it? If you guessed that Mark and I were married you are right!! It doesn't seem like it has been that long, but if you add in all of the years we dated we've been together for more than a decade! Man we are getting old!!

Celebrating the 4th

I finally have gotten around to posting some pictures from our 4th of July weekend. There were so many cute ones that I had a hard time choosing which to use. So, I may end up posting more later. We are staying busy...there's rarely a day we don't have something to do. I dread when the kids start ball and other activities. I just don't know where we will have the time to do it all.

Grayson enjoying the pool at Nana's and Papaw's house.
Bathing beauty. She refused to use the baby float.
Nice hair, Reagan!
What a look.
Grayson wanted to make Nanny a get well soon card after she got out of the hospital. As you can see I wrote the note and handed him the paper to go color. This is what he came back with. He was very proud of his card!
Look at the pink bikini. What a figure.
This is the dress Reagan is going to wear to her Uncle BJ's wedding. I was trying it out to make sure it fit. She wasn't too cooperative, so maybe I will get better pictures later. Grayson has a matching tie made of the same material.
I'm about to run!!

Happy 4th of July!!

Happy 4th of July!
I hope that everyone is enjoying our freedom that didn't come so freely!
Here's a picture of one of many of Grayson's booboos from the tricycle wreck.
When I went to buy flowers to plant in our beds Grayson kept wanting me to get yellow. Instead he got to plant his own yellow flower in a pot he picked out himself. He is so proud of that flower. He waters it multiple times a day. I feel sorry for the poor flower, it is drowning.
Here is a picture of my brown eyed curly top girl. I wish I had curls like this.

A new month...time to catch up

I have been having some technical difficulties posting new stuff. I think I finally figured it out....it was a user error. Imagine that! I have more to post later, incuding Grayson's booboo's from a tricycle wreck!

Grayson in his new playhouse.

I don't think they are going to make it far. Reagan's foot can't even touch the pedal.

Grayson giving Reagan some love....or is it a choke hold?
