Movie Night

Tonight Mark is working late so the kids and I are having popcorn and a movie night. I think the Madagascar movies are cute. So, I stopped at K-mart on the way to pick up the kids from daycare and bought the 2 pack. It has Madagascar 2 and The Penguins of Madagascar. As you can see the kids are hunkered down for a little bit. Of course as I write this Reagan feeds her whole bowl of popcorn to the dogs. Oh well! Grayson keeps singing "i like to move it, move it....." from the movie. It is too cute.

I am still waiting for the results of my second biopsy. I am hoping that I will get a call Monday or Tuesday. Last month they called back within two days. Patience, Patience, Patience. Once I know the results I will let you know.

Now it's time to get back to the kids and the movie. Enjoy your weekend!

Busy Day

I have really been slacking in the blogging world lately. We have been staying busy with today being one of our busiest days yet. Some of you know that I have been trying to get Grayson qualified for speech since he was 2 1/2 years old. He finally qualified just before Christmas, so every Monday and Tuesday. morning we are at the local school for speech. I am glad that I work part time and am able to take him, but it sure would be nice to be able to sleep in late on my days off. Another thing on our schedule is the Little Gym. Grayson started going when he was 6 months old, but we stopped when we were getting ready to move. I had always planned to rejoin up but it took a little longer than expected. This will be Reagan's first time taking a class there. I'm not sure if she will like it as well as Grayson always did, but it will be good for her. Grayson has outgrown the parent child classes so he will be attending without me. My baby is growing up. In addition to all of the above I also have a doctors appointment today with the ENT. Last month I had a biopsy on my Thyroid (I have had issues with it since my senior year of high school) but they want to do another one today to get more tissue. Needless to say I am NOT looking forward to that. Fortunately, Mark is able to meet me at the Little Gym to take over kid duties while I get to go and be tortured. Hopefully, I will have some pictures to post soon. Now let's go cook some breakfast.

God's Glory

Each morning, when we aren't going to work, we awake to the sun rising in our bedroom windows. This morning as I was waking Grayson, yes he was in our bed, I watched the sky change from night to a glorious orange. I decided that I needed to take a picture. The picture does not show the glory of the sunrise, but you can get a good idea of how gorgeous it was. I was standing on our back deck listening to the birds and nothing else, just taking a moment to appreciate all that God has made.

Fun in the Sun

Yesterday (Saturday) I kept my cousins little boy. He is around 6 months older than Grayson. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed every minute of it. From about 9:30 until 6:30pm the boys were outside non stop, except for food and bathroom breaks. Mark had made plans to play golf so he took Reagan to his parents house so she couldn't torment the boys. I ended up taking the boys to the playground part of the day. We weren't the only ones trying to take advantage of 65+ degree weather in February. Grayson is already asking when Zane can come back and play again. They did so well together I will have to get him again soon.

Snowy Afternoon

Once again we are finding ourselves in a winter wonderland. I love it!! The kids are hunkered down on the couch and chair watching a movie. I'm hoping that they fall asleep, but I know I won't be that lucky. For the moment I will just enjoy the peace and quiet.

Ready for Valentines Day

Reagan had what I thought was the cutest outfit at Christmas. It had red polka dot pants. I started thinking about this outfit and realizzed that the pants would be cute at Valentine's also. So, I found a girl to make Reagan a shirt to match her pants. I personally think it turned out great. What do you think? Here she is in front of her kitchen.
