Happy Halloween!

Here are the kids getting ready to go get some yummy candy. Grayson is a cowboy, Reagan a bumble bee that is missing her antennae. We had fun but are worn out! More to come later.

My Little Dinosaur

Today Grayson's class at daycare performed at the Hospital's fall festival. I did not know until I showed up, but apparently all of the different department's carve or create pumpkins for a contest. They also bring lots of candy for the kids to receive when they "trick-or-treat". It was pretty cute. The kids paraded down the hall out into the courtyard where the employee's and kids families were waiting. They then performed a few Halloween songs for us. Of course I took pictures and tried to video. Grayson wasn't cooperating too well. He was too busy turning his back to me, but I included a little clip anyway (just ignore my talking). He dressed up in his green dinosaur costume. For Halloween he is going to be a cowboy, unless he changes his mind. We will just have to wait and see. In the pictures and video the little boy dressed up as a fireman is Grayson's best friend at daycare. He talks about him ALL of the time and according to his mom all they hear about is Grayson. I will post more pics later. Enjoy!

Halloween preparations

Halloween is approaching and I'm already tired of Christmas. Not really, I just can't believe the stores already have their Christmas up and we haven't even had Halloween!! It's just crazy! We can't enjoy one holiday before they are trying to stress us out over not even the next holiday. Anyway, the kids enjoyed a Halloween party this past weekend. They got to dress up, Grayson as a cowboy, Reagan as a bumble bee. Of course I forgot to take pictures, but I will take some this week. Tonight, Grayson and I made Halloween cookies. Already this week we made Halloween cupcakes. Grayson just had to take some to two of his cousins. Here are a few pictures of the making of the cookies. They're just plain jane sugar cookies.

Flattening out the dough.

Using the cookie cutters.

Patiently, or not so, waiting for the cookies.

Our little stinker!

Reagan woke up too early while we were getting ready for work...as usual. I turned the tv on with hopes that she would actually watch it for once in her life. Here's what we found. Isn't it so cute....she's cuddling with her baby giving it a bottle.

I told her to give the baby the bottle so I could take a picture. She did, herself.
Little miss Reagan has been getting in lots of trouble for biting, pinching, and hitting. Here she is in time-out. It doesn't bother her one bit, unlike her brother. She thinks it's funny.

Golfing with the boys

This past Wednesday Mark, BJ, and myself went to Canyon Ridges Golf course. I was just along for the ride with my camera while the boys played. It's a good thing I didn't take my clubs or I would have lost more balls than BJ did. :-) Anyway, the course is AMAZING!! It is located on the bluff overlooking some amazing views that my pictures do not do justice. Beside the views the course is amazing in itself. Whoever planned this course was a genius. I don't know how they did it.

The first 4 pictures are from the first hole. What a way to start a round of golf. If you over shoot the green your ball goes off of the bluff. Here we are looking for BJ's ball. I asked the boys what they were going to do if they saw over the edge. I certainly wasn't going to crawl over and get it.

Big boulders could be found everywhere on the course.

There's a nice "little" drop off in the long grass.

Can you find the green/hole? Look for the sand trap. The tee box was WAY above the hole with a cart path going down that reminded me of the streets in SanFrancisco. It was crazy!! Horseshoe curve right after another.

Our house and the frog

I have had a couple requests for updated pictures of our house. Apparently I never put the finished product on the blog. Here are a couple of the outside. The inside looks like a tornado has been in there. You can't walk because of toys. Maybe, I will get motivated, clean up, and post some later.

Last weekend we had a BIG crew at our house. Right at 30 people. They were all friends and family that Mark grew up with. Some of those friends/family do not live in the area any longer so when they came in for a visit we all wanted to see them.
Here are a few pics of Grayson playing with his new buddy Kellen. Kellen and his parents live in Indiana so we don't see them very often. Kellen, Grayson, and Reagan had a great time playing with the frog sprinkler on my flower pot.

Grayson's 3rd Birthday

Looking over our blog I realized that I haven't posted Grayson's birthday pictures. These are from his actual birthday, not his party. Of course I added a couple of extra pics.

This is what Reagan look's like after feeding herself yogurt.
Grayson up and ready for school on his birthday. He's a big 3 year old now!
Grayson's mini Thomas the train cake.
Grayson share's his birthday with his cousin Olivia. On their birthday my family had a mini-party for them.
Yes, this is a Gator. Grayson received it for his birthday from Mommy and Daddy. These two will ride for at least an hour in it. They probably rode longer than that when Grayson received it. I just love that it has seatbelts! Grayson drives like his Daddy.
Going to the stop sign.
Opening some presents from Mommy, Daddy, and Sissy.
Reagan says Hi!

Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday we went to the Crow Creek Pumpkin Patch in Stevenson Al. This is my favorite pumpkin patch I have been to. There's lots of fun things to do other than pick pumpkin. It was very hot and the kids were tired, so we didn't get to explore the big maze this year, but we still had fun. Here are a few pics.
